Quick Weigh IN

My morning started off super early! I was meeting my girlfriend the one that stood me up last Wednesday when she told me she overslept for an early run. I pulled up in her driveway right at 6:15 and was happy to see her kitchen light on. She came right out and once my Garmin found satellite we were off. It was fun running in the dark. Knowing most people in the homes we were running past were not even awake yet. We ran 4.71 miles and got to enjoy the sunrise.

Awesome run. Hope to make it a regular routine. Too nervous to run so early in the morning, especially when it is dark out. Glad I convinced this girl to run with me!!! After an hour I was back in my jeep and heading home to shower and get ready for work.

I was really surprised to see this number. I was consistent with my workouts but my eating was not so great. I did eliminate the sweets so that had to help!! Down 2.6 pounds!!!!


I worked from 9-5 then headed to the gym to take a spin class!!! I have only taken 2 spin classes before, and that was many years ago. It was an hour long class. A very LONG hour. I loved the loud energizing music that really got you going. They dimmed the lights and I really tried to concentrate on the many terms that were being used.  I have to be honest, since it was my first class I did not up the resistance on the bike as much as I could have. I wanted to finish the class strong and not be too terribly sore tomorrow. It was nice to see that women, as well as men, were in the class. They were of all ages and sizes so trust me, if you want to take a class, but have been too afraid to give it a try, just do it!!!! I was happy to see so many people greet me and also help me get my bike fitted for me before the class started. I will be back for this class again!! I loved it!

There are so many classes that I am excited about taking, so I know I have to ease into it. 

I survived spin class:)

Well, I had a crazy full day and I need to get some sleep.

  1. Good job on the weight loss. Looks like you got two great workouts in! I have taken Spin before and it's hard but such an awesome workout!

    1. Thanks! Hopefully I can take spin once a week. Today I am taking a bodypump class. I love that they have SO many classes! So excited about the gym!!!

  2. Good job on the weigh in! I would LOVE to take a spin class. Unfortunately, there are none near me. :( They look like fun though!

    1. I really did enjoy spin class! So glad I picked this gym. I had really wanted to give the crossfit a try but it was just too expensive. Now that I have tried several classes at the gym and I so happy with my choice!!!!
