Weigh In Weds

My Wednesday did not start out exactly as planned. I was meeting my friend you know who you are at 6:15 this morning to go for a run. We have tried to meet up for the past few weeks but it has either been snowing or cold rain. My alarm went off promptly at 5:45. I had all my running gear laid out the night before, so I was ready to go in no time. We live about 15 minutes from each other, so I left my house a little before 6. Go me!!  When I arrived at my friends house, it was completely dark. Hmmmmm. This was not a good sign. I waited several minutes before sending her a text. Nothing.....Then I called her cell several times. Funny thing is my friend assured me that she was up every morning at 5:30!! NOT TODAY!! I considered going to the front door but figured she had overslept. After about 20 minutes I ended up driving back home. I jumped on the treadmill for 30 minutes then attempted this workout.....

This workout is no joke!! I ended up only doing one and a half sets!!! It took me longer then expected and since I did not have that much time thanks to my friend I headed upstairs to weigh in and get a quick shower.

No complaining. I enjoyed myself during the holidays and slacked on some of my workouts. It can only go down from here. I have said before that I feel better when I weigh around 145.

Breakfast.

Lunch was a pb sandwich, string cheese and Triscuits.

Snack was one clementine.

Before going to hot yoga (tonight was more like warm yoga).

Dinner was whole wheat pasta, turkey and basil sauce with garlic bread. I ate 3 pieces of bread. I shouldn't have but my willpower was gone! It was a long day by the time I got home and I was starving after yoga.

So, if my friend oversleeping was bad enough....how about this.....


This is what happens when a boy with his learners permit is driving his mothers new Cadillac SUV and does not put it in reverse!!! Yep, he jumped the sidewalk and came crashing into my office with me working just a few feet away. Thankfully no one was injured but I thought I had wet my pants!!! I saw it coming and hit the floor!! Crazy......

If you are wondering about my sweet friend, she called me to apologize feeling terrible that she had overslept. Since she is the sweetest friend ever, I forgave her right away. Hey, better her then me!!



I wanted to show you my new gym bag from Lululemon I got for Christmas. I love it!!! I used it today for the first time! So nice for an overnight bag as well. Since I go to yoga straight from work it held all my clothes, shoes and yoga mat!!

  1. oh my GOSH...wat a day u had! first off, i'm sorry that friend of ur's slept in...how annoying! u'll have to make sure they get plenty of jokes about that one...lol. but sounds like u had a kickbutt workout my ur lonesome.
    and goodness, i'm glad that u are at least okay after that car debacle!! that's insane!

  3. Oh... there's the bag! It's so pretty! I need to go for a run tomorrow morning, and have to go really early because my husband has to be at work earlier than usual. I will think of you... up and at 'em... for Inspiration! Yay!

  4. Happy New Year Teresa! Somehow I missed your post about moving domains and so you have not been showing up in my reader for months because I still had the old address! Yikes. I have so many blogs in there that I just missed it. I indulged in December too and my measurements went up :( Time to get back on track!!
