First things first!! My weight....
Don't feel sorry for me. I am doing it to myself. I have to say that they past few days have been much better and my eating is now in control. I am the same weight as last week.
My daughter is getting married in 7 weeks and I still have not found a dress! That should be motivation enough to get my portions and mindless eating under control.
Got some highlites on Tuesday and went super blonde! Ahhhhhh not sure I am totally happy with it. It is pretty light and my roots are really dark (happy to report NO gray yet) plus my hair grows really fast. Felt bad leaving the hair salon to go to body pump and mess it all up!
Wednesday morning early run with a friend. 4.5 miles. I am enjoying running in the dark and it goes by so fast when you are chattin it up! I worked all day then headed to SPIN class. I am loving it!!
Happy Valentine's Day
I wore this to work today!!!
My husband bought me another bracelet to add to my collection.
and flowers!!!
Several years ago, my husband sent me this Vermont Teddy Bear and I bring it out every year.
How cute is this bear?? Love it.
Even though we no longer have small children in the house, I still love to decorate just a little.
After work today I headed to the gym for a run on the treadmill. I decided to go upstairs to the loft area
overlooking the gym/free weights area. I was in heaven!! Great people watching!
Got in an awesome 4 miler.
How sweet is my treadmill today!!
When I was done at the gym I needed to stop by the store for a few things for dinner. John and I are eating in tonight. I also have been wanting to make the spinach feta wraps that I love at Starbucks. I make them from time to time and put them in the freezer. All I have to do is warm them up in the microwave at work and it saves me a lot of money!!
Love these wraps. Only 100 calories each with 7 grams of fiber.
I start by sauteing spinach with a little olive oil.
I use the same pan to cook the 3 egg whites per wrap.
Place egg whites on wrap.
Top with spinach and feta cheese.
Last minute I decided to add turkey pepperoni.
Then I just folded in the sides and rolled over twice. I then put them in individual baggies, then into one large freezer bag. I did not measure out the cheese or the pepperoni, but I estimate them to be around 250 calories. They are so so good!!!!
Time to enjoy the evening with the hubs!! Hope everyone had a great day.

I love the blonde-blonde, but I know what you mean. I get lowlights for Fall and Winter, and then lighten it up with more highlights for Spring and Summer. I'm always afraid that my roots will grow in too fast. I'm definitely going to make the spinach/feta wrap. It's the only thing I eat at Starbucks. Can't believe I never thought to recreate it at home. Duh!
ReplyDeleteYou should make the wraps!! They are so good and you can always add things to them that you like. Let me know if you do! Also nice to have on hand in the freezer!!
ReplyDeleteHi Teresa! I've been reading your blog for a while and I just want to tell you it is very motivating!!! Ever since I hit 40, I honestly feel that every time I step on the scale I have gained a pound! Whenever I feel like being lazy I read your blog and then go do the treadmill! So, don't stop posting, you are motivating me to keep moving and not give up!!!
